I was watching this game, and the catcher knew the runner was going to steal. After the ball was pitched, it was called a ball and the catcher threw the ball to second and the runner was out. The coach for the team that was batting complained that it was interference on the catcher because she stepped over the plate to throw the ball. The umpire said that he was wrong because it was only interference if the bat would of hit the catchers glove. Was this the right call?
is the catcher allowed to have her foot in their batters box if it’s an inside pitch?

I just bought a 2008 Easton Stealth Composite Fastpitch softball bat online from a sporting store because they didn’t have it instock at any stores near me. I ordered one that was 33″ and 23 oz. Is that a good size for me if I am 5’8″ and 117lbs. ?
If strength has to do with anything; I’ve got a strong arm and I play 3rd base for my Highschool fastpitch team (Varsity)
